Seems since my last entry (back in September) things have been working pretty smoothly with the new modem. No major outages or problems since.<\/p>\n<p>However, I&#39;ve noticed some degradation in the past week or so and I am concerned that this is going to lead to another year of bad times with Rogers. Looking at the graph for the last 3 hours (it is very similar over the last week or so), I&#39;m seeing 9% packet loss (that just sucks) and an average ping time of 120ms to the first router. Normally I would see something in the range 100ms less than this.
