I told AOL to go screw themselves last year cause they wouldn't budge on a contract item forcing us to support Netscape. I see now that they have been screwing their employees ever since by forcing them to use Netscape. Good luck with that outdated piece of garbage AOL.

Perhaps now its time to review your bully techniques and remove absolutely ridiculous contract terms. BTW, we never did support Netscape and probably never will. It isn't worth the development cost to support .01% of your customers.

Just discovered that although access to this blog has been working, the RSS feed has not been working. I'm temporarily re-enabling but will migrate it to kosmo.com within a week or so. If you are subscribed to my RSS feed, please use the new one at http://www.kosmo.com/blogs/TimsBlog/rss.xml. For the blog itself, one could guess it is at http://www.kosmo.com/blogs/TimsBlog. Linkages will change shortly so any new subscribers clicking on the XML button will get the proper feed.

Sorry once again folks for the change but I'll eventually be ridding myself of the kosmosys.com domain and remain only with the kosmo.com domain. I grabbed the kosmosys.com domain about a year ago for an emergency backup to kosmo.com and have been using both intermixed since. Whenever the domain is up for renewal I'll most likely just let it lapse.

Thanks to Jessyca Wallace for the kind words. Good luck to her in the consulting arena. Excellent move.

For any of you bloggers out there with my blogchat indicator on their pages, it is in need of updating to the following code or something similar. If you continue to use the old code it will always show offline and in the near future will probably not work whatsoever.
<a href="http://www.blogchat.com/blogchat/chatentry.php?blogchatId=kosmosys" onclick="window.open (this.href,'','height=200,width=450,toolbar=no,location=no,resizable=yes');return false;"> <img src="http://www.blogchat.com/blogchat/masterstatus.php?blogchatId=kosmosys" alt="you can chat with me if i'm in" border="0" />

There is absolutely no excuse for delivering a Visa to Mohamed "scumbag" Atta 6 months after Sept 11th. Any of these INS "lowlife" so called employees who had anything to do with this should be sent down to Guantanamo Bay.

Everyone knows what FedEx does right? They deliver packages of course. Well, apparently not all the time. It seems if you live in a new housing area where roads do not exist on any map whatsoever then FedEx has no clue on how to find you. Now this would make sense if they were NOT given directions twice over the phone that any moron could follow.

What they ended up doing was giving up after 2-3 times of attempting to follow dead simple directions (without calling mind you) and have another delivery company actually deliver the package.

This doesn't give me much confidence in their business which by the way, if you didn't know, is DELIVERING packages.

I always thought Radio was a bit of a pig but since I'm running it in a server type configuration on a heavily used 800MHz Celeron I thought I couldn't complain too much. The performance monitor on that machine spikes at 100% and stays there at regular intervals. For any kind of application that is NOT a good thing. For an extremely light application like Radio it should not even come close to spiking to 100%.

The performance monitor graph Dave shows for a decent $2K modern machine does not look impressive to me. At least I would be looking into why there are these regular CPU spikes.

As kind of a demo, here's what the Windows Performance Monitor looks like on a modern $2K machine running Radio 8. Look, it's actually doing some work.   [Scripting News]
